Ameeruddin (Petitioner) V/S Appellate Authority Board of Trustee of EOBI & ors (Respondent) Sindh High Court Bench: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Adnan-ul-Karim Memon(Author), Hon'ble Mr. Justice Zulfiqar Ali Sangi Order Date: 09-MAR-26 The authority shall verify the employment record, take effective steps for recovery of outstanding contributions from the employer in accordance with law, and thereafter decide the entitlement of the petitioners to old-age or invalidity pension, as the case may be, strictly under the provisions of the Act. Such exercise shall preferably be completed within a reasonable period of two months. However the claim of the petitioners shall not be rejected on the premise that contribution could not be deposited by the employer as it was the duty of EOBI, to recover the contribution from employer and petitioners cannot be saddled with such non compliance on the part of the employer. 13. Both petitions, along with pending application(s), are disposed of in the above terms.
