In response, learned counsel for the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) submitted that the petitioner???s case for grant of proforma promotion would be considered within a period of two weeks through issuance of an appropriate circular, and that the necessary process would be completed within the said timeframe. 4. In view of the statement made on behalf of the respondent, the instant petition stands disposed of with the direction that the aforesaid exercise be undertaken within two weeks and case of the petitioner shall be considered for proforma promotion accordingly without fail.
