PTD 2018 816 · Balochistan High Court

This case is about a dispute over foreign currency seized at Quetta Airport. In May 2012, airport security stopped a man named Ali Khan and found him carrying 20,000 US Dollars and 5,200 UAE Dirhams, an amount exceeding legal limits under customs and foreign exchange laws. The currency was seized and Ali Khan faced smuggling charges. During the customs proceedings, two other men, Daroo Khan and Noor Ali (the applicant in this case), came forward claiming portions of the seized money belonged to them.
