She said she had not actually divorced Hadayat Ullah and wished to live with him.
The court's decision was limited: it set Asia free to go wherever she chose, since that was within its power in this type of case. However, it held that the serious allegations of buying and selling a person required detailed factual inquiry that could not be resolved in this kind of summary revision petition, and that the disputed divorce issue should be pursued through proper separate legal channels.
